![]() ![]() From my experience, some players prefer having a banned skin list in a tournament, especially more experienced and skilled players, but its almost always okay to do without. Small tournaments on websites like and smash.gg almost all have no skins banned. They claim to be the biggest lan party in Canada, so it is presumable that they want to ensure the highest competitive integrity for players as they likely have some of the best players attending.īut tournaments like EGLX , League of Legends Canadian Nationals – Grey Cup Festival and the High School Esports League (back when they were allowed to host League of Legends tournaments in High Schools) all have no skins banned excluding in relation to bugs. Lan ETS in Montreal, Canada is an example of a tournament with a banned skin list. That being said, some tournaments do have banned skins which are likely determined through their own judgement. I also personally, as a tournament organizer who has ran many League of Legends tournaments, have not banned skins in my own tournaments. The evolution of the complexity of these skins is only trending towards cooler ones in the future! As much as I love skins that are actually relevant to the characterization of the champions themselves, Riot’s themed skins tend to turn out to be at least more interesting than the “Let’s just try to come up with something” (cough Bandito cough) skins. From my research, most League of Legends tournaments, specifically smaller ones, do not have banned skins. I told you guys we would finally get into interesting Fiddle content. Holiday skins often seem to have more thought put into their designs, as a rule. The only thing that’s a little weird is that the fur in the in-game model looks like ice. I think they did a great job with this one, even if it doesn’t really have anything to do with Fiddle as a champion. As if it couldn’t get any creepier, take a look at the in-game model if you’ve never seen it before. If THAT suddenly popped out of a bush cackling and surrounded by a blizzard of ice… I think I might be seriously traumatized. It looks like he’s also somehow entered the Freljord. He’s like a demented Candy Land creature with a sharp icy sickle. He has creepy real-people hands that look all clawed, and he has more craggy teeth. It’s entirely clever and vastly more interesting and complex than any other Fiddleskins so far! It was actually conceived by players and not designers, and was released to celebrate Riot’s second birthday. His sticks are tied together with streamers, and have streamers twisted around them to make a stripey pattern. Forsaken jayce skin reddit party plus#This is a hilarious skin idea that is entirely relevant to Fiddle’s abilities, plus it’s got crows in tiny party hats and who doesn’t love that? He’s got big goofy clown hands, a magic pinwheel…thing, and a balloon animal friend. It’s just a Fiddle thing I guess, whatevs. More melee weapons for a ranged champ, yeah let’s do it! Bleh. If you guys know anything about me by now you know I’m about to question the sword. Peg legs? Plus a great punny name? Pirate scarecrow! This one’s got a pretty decent outfit actually, complete with jacket, beard, and triangle pirate hat. Definitely one of my favorite Fiddleskins. I’m a little torn between wanting his eyes to glow through the pumpkin and liking it the way it is. It’s simple, and classically Halloween-y even the crows look scarier in this one. It’s MUCH creepier and much more in line with how it feels like Riot initially wanted Fiddle to be characterized. And I mean he’s not even wearing the hat! So what I’m trying to say is… this skin makes no sense. He’s got it wrapped around his mouth now, a poncho that makes him look like a traffic cone, a sombrero, and….a gun? A gun. Who sits down and thinks hmm…scarecrow…scarecrow….bandito! I think it might be the scarf, to be honest. I’m wondering where they got the idea for this skin. So exciting (sorry guys, we’re getting there). ![]() Pip pip and all that, there’s flags in the back too. And he’s got blue hands and blue glowy eyes. Wouldja look at that, he’s wearing a union jack. ![]() Hey look! It’s the 2012 London Winter Games Fiddle skin. Well I didn’t promise interesting content right away, did I? Here we have literally the exact same original classic art, just turned white and various shades of blue. It’s time to get into the more interesting side of Fiddlesticks. ![]()
